Artwork Guidelines for Uploading Custom Printed Flags

To ensure your custom printed flags look their best, please follow these artwork guidelines when uploading your design:

1. Preferred File Format:

   • Vector Files: For optimal print quality and scalability, we prefer vector files. Acceptable formats include:
     • AI (Adobe Illustrator)
     • EPS (Encapsulated PostScript)
     • SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)
     • PDF (Portable Document Format) with vector elements

2. Alternative File Formats:

   • If a vector file is not available, we also accept high-resolution raster files. These files must be:
     • 1MB or larger to ensure print clarity
     • In one of the following formats:
       • JPEG
       • PNG
       • TIFF
       • PSD (Adobe Photoshop)

3. Design Specifications:

   • Resolution: Raster images should have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi at the actual print size.
   • Color Mode: All files should be in CMYK OR Pantone colour mode to ensure accurate colour reproduction.
   • Fonts: Convert all text to outlines or embed fonts in your file to avoid font substitution issues.

4. File Preparation:

   • Ensure your artwork is properly sized to match the dimensions of the flag you are ordering.
   • Double-check that all critical elements (logos, text, etc.) are within the safe area, away from the edges and bleed zone.
   • Remove any guidelines or non-printing elements from your file before uploading.

By adhering to these guidelines, you help us ensure that your custom printed flags are produced with the highest quality and accuracy. A PDF proof will be supplied before we go to print.
