Diocese Flags
We offer both hand sewn & printed Diocese Flags, all made in our very own manufacturing facility, here in North Yorkshire, UK.
Our hand sewn Diocese Flags are manufactured from our 155gsm Ministry of Defence approved woven polyester flag fabric, the highest quality fabric available for outdoor flag making. The individual pieces of fabric are hand cut to MoD & Flag institute patterns and stitched together with a flat felled seam to create a strong and durable finished product. Any appliqué work is hand stitched onto the design of the flag in our 115gsm Ministry of Defence approved knitted polyester flag fabric. The appliquéd part may be printed depending on the complexity of the design, if you would like to be sure on this, please do not hesitate to call.
Our Digitally printed Diocese Flags are manufactured from 115gsm Ministry of Defence approved knitted polyester flag fabric, the highest quality print fabric available for outdoor flag making.
All our Diocese Flags are hemmed on the three exposed sides with a strong double hem (triple hem on fly, on flags over 2.5 yards), fitted with our custom red, white & blue stitch polypropylene headband tape, rope & wooden toggle as standard. Other fittings are available on ordering.
If your Diocese is not on our list, please contact us and we will do our best to manufacture it for you.
We highly recommend purchasing a sewn applique flag if you intend to fly the flag from a church tower.

Customer Reviews
-
Diocese flag
This is the first time we have flown a St George flag with the diocese emblem and we are not disappointed, the service from flying colours and the quality and manufacture is excellent.
-
Diocesan flag
We ordered this Diocesan flag as we wanted to fly it on St. George's Day and also for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The flag arrived promptly in excellent condition and we would recommend this company f100%.

Fly the flag
Recently purchased a replacement Chester Diocesan Flag as our previous flag although having given sterling service was faded and showing signs of wear and tear. Have purchased several flags from Flying Colours over the years and find them a very customer oriented company who strives to produce products of a very high standard. Personally I would not use any other. The Anti Fray Netting is well worth the extra cost as it’s unobtrusive when flag raised but does protect the edge from fraying as long as the flag is flown as recommended.
