Hotel "H"

Signal Flags - Also known as maritime flags and technically known as the International Code of Signals which are currently used by The Royal Navy, NATO and many motor boat and yacht clubs.

The signal flags were traditionally used at sea enabling vessels to communicate to each other, today the tradition carries on.

All our Hotel "H" Flags are manufactured using our MoD approved woven flag fabrics, however the smaller flags, due to their complexity, are printed on our approved MoD knitted polyester flag fabric.

We offer 11 different sizes including the Royal Naval special flags. All our Signal Flags are grouped together in set sizes, so that the buyer buys correctly as there are currently 3 different sizes which form the set. Generally each set have alphabet flags to one size, accompanied by a longer pennant flag (numerals and Answer) and a slightly shorter substitute flag.

For example if we take set 8 then the flag sizes are as follows: Alphabet Flag size is 60 x 45 inches, the Pennant/Numeral is 110 x 38inches, and the Substitute 73 x 57 inches.
