We offer both hand sewn & printed Union Flags, all made in our very own manufacturing facility, here in North Yorkshire, UK.
Our hand sewn Union Jack Flags are manufactured from our 155gsm Ministry of Defence approved woven polyester flag fabric, the highest quality fabric available for outdoor flag making. The 31 individual pieces of fabric are hand cut to MoD & Flag institute patterns and stitched together with a flat felled seam to create a strong and durable finished product. Any appliqué work is hand stitched onto the design of the flag in our 115gsm Ministry of Defence approved knitted polyester flag fabric. The appliquéd part may be printed depending on the complexity of the design, if you would like to be sure on this, please do not hesitate to call.
Our screen printed Union Flags are manufactured from approved 155gsm premium grade woven polyester flag fabric. For sizes 5 and 6 yard the printed flags are manufactured from 110gsm classic knitted polyester flag fabric and include a stitched fabric join.
If you require these sizes in the premium woven fabric then please opt for the sewn flag version.
All our Union Jack Flags are hemmed on the three exposed sides with a strong double hem (triple hem on fly, on flags over 2.5 yards), fitted with our custom red, white & blue stitch polypropylene headband tape, rope & wooden toggle as standard. Other fittings are available on ordering.

Solid flag
Solid, weighty, nice fabric Seems like it would fare okay but the other more expensive variant would probably be better

best flag ive ever owned
I was actually shocked at how good the flag was when it first arrived, although it was £80 so I did have high expectations; thankfully I wasnt dissapointed. Will be buying from again next year. ?

Best Union Jack flag
Absolutely love the Union Jack flag, it is very well made and the material is quite thick as well. Good quality material but at the same time the fabric can literally be seen through. But overall it is a great flag and I am absolutely loving it! Totally recommended!
